By using the ShiftSleep app or website, you agree to the following terms.
1. Purpose and Scope
ShiftSleep is a personal planning and sleep-tracking tool intended to help shift workers optimise their sleep schedule. It is not a medical device and is not intended for use as a clinical diagnostic tool.
2. Medical Disclaimer
ShiftSleep does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Content, recommendations, and questionnaire results are for informational and personal planning purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about your health. If you experience symptoms of a sleep disorder, speak to a doctor.
The ESS (Epworth Sleepiness Scale) and ISI (Insomnia Severity Index) scores generated by ShiftSleep are screening tools, not clinical diagnoses.
3. Account and Data
Your sleep data is stored on your device and protected in transit. ShiftSleep does not sell your personal data to third parties. See the Privacy Policy for full details. You can export or delete your data at any time from within the app.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ShiftSleep for any unlawful purpose, attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the app, or misrepresent ShiftSleep outputs as professional medical advice to others.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and software associated with ShiftSleep is the property of its creator. You may not reproduce or distribute it without permission.
6. Availability and Changes
We may modify or discontinue features of ShiftSleep at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any interruptions to the service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShiftSleep and its creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or its recommendations.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
